Danielle Liss, Esq. is a partner and founder of Businessese. She is also the owner of Hashtag Legal, a law firm focusing on social media law with an emphasis on legal issues related to bloggers and influencer marketing. Danielle has extensive experience negotiating contracts and interpreting FTC guidelines.
From 2011 to 2015, Danielle was Chief Marketing Officer and General Counsel of FitFluential, an influencer network concentrating on health and wellness initiatives. During her time there, Danielle led FitFluential's campaign administration in hundreds of successful campaigns. She worked directly with brands and agencies to ensure that FitFluential would successfully achieve their objectives. Danielle managed the budgets for all campaigns and regularly negotiated pricing for participating influencers.
Danielle graduated from the University of Delaware, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with a Bachelor's Degree in Art History. Danielle worked for a Fortune 100 bank, spending a significant portion of her career in internet marketing. Danielle later graduated cum laude from Widener University School of Law. Prior to FitFluential, she worked in private practice, focusing primarily on business litigation.
